With just a few inexpensive supplies, you can easily make these chic little string ornaments for Christmas or even year round! Use can use these as ornaments for your tree, place over Christmas lights or hang from mantles or chandeliers. They would even look great with a flameless candle or LED tealight placed inside. The method shown in the video uses small balloons as the mold for the ornaments, but if you’d like bigger orbs, try using large balloons or even a beach ball for varying sizes. Give the ornaments a custom look by finishing with a glitter spray and then simply hang with fishing string or an ornament hook. How great is that?
Tip: Make sure to give the ornaments plenty of time to dry before removing the balloon mold.
This video gives great tips if you’re interested in making large lanterns in the same style. Perfect for wrapping with Christmas lights!
